Teabag of hate

All right.  That’s it.  They have gone too far. 

I just finished reading about the “teabaggers” who called African American congressmen “niggers” while protesting the health care bill  at the US capitol.

If that’s not enough to bring in the votes on the health care reform, nothing will.  It just shows the level of intelligence, class, and hatred that is behind the opposition to this bill.  Screw ’em.  Pass the damn bill.

I cannot believe that in this day and age, after all that this country has gone through in bringing our society out of the middle ages of hate and bigotry, that we are now reduced to this level.  What have we done wrong? 

This is the “Christian” right.  I’m sorry folks, if that is Christianity, I’m out.  If you truly are Christian, there had better be a big ol’ mess of you reigning in these bastards.  I haven’t seen that happening up to now.  Disavow this shit. NOW! 

  I am not black.  I am not gay.  I don’t live in Washington, DC or anywhere on the west or east coast.  I am, however one of the hated educated  progressives.  Have at me.  Let’s have a debate.  But if spewing racial epithets and hatred at members of the US Congress (and, obviously, the President of our country—yes, he IS our PRESIDENT!!!!—-is all that you’ve got, go back to your hole in the ground.  I have no patience or time for it.  

My anger is overflowing.  But I am not wasting any more of my energy on it.
