The news of the Russian spies over the past few days has been on my mind. I have seen the articles telling about these people living in the suburbs, and their supposed assignment of trying to gain information which would be helpful to the Russian government. I heard the reports of the trade between the US and Russia, and saw the planes unloading and loading these individuals in Vienna.
These reports made me think of the rude awakening the Russian spies will have in going to Russia to live after having lived in the US for all of these years. I would imagine that there will be many adjustments for them. Even with the Westernization of the former Soviet Union, I would think that it will be very different to live there than in a US suburban housing development.
But there was something else that seemed to tug at my mind as I followed these reports. I just couldn’t put my finger on it. Then, this weekend, as I was involved in several political events, it came to me. Picture the heel of my palm hitting my forehead: “That’s it!”
It all makes so much sense to me now. There must be Russian spies living in my area. This is the only explanation which is logical for the popularity of Michele Bachmann, and her cohort in political idiocy, Sarah Palin!
Think of it. The pure devilish brilliance of such a plan! Infiltrate this midwestern suburban area, posing as plain old American folks, becoming flag-waving, God-loving, Bible-thumping, tea baggers. Whip up the locals, use a little of the propaganda machine of Fox, the local evangelical churches and the local Republican party, using them to support the lunacy of Bachmann and Palin, in order to undermine the legitimate US government.
That is the only explanation that makes sense.
How could I not have seen this?
Please send the CIA and the FBI to my Congressional district. They have some work to do here.
It works for me!!! It’s a communist plot. After all, Sarah can see Russia from her house!!!!

Well, that was when she was living in Alaska. Where do you think she has been living since she walked away from the Governor’s house??

The only problem with your hypothesis is that the Russians would be expecting to receive “intelligence” from her.

Hallelujah! I think you hit it on the head. I feel so sorry for you living in Bachman Country…… I have nightmares of a Palin/Bachman ticket in 2012 with Rush Limbaugh as the Secretary of State…… Really gives me the willies……

I’m about ready to move anywhere. If the GOP candidate here gets elected, I am truly worried.

It is not unthinkable to have such a ticket in 2012, and not out of the realm of possibility that it could occur. I also have nightmares. Bush was awful, and Obama a bit disappointing, to be honest, but this would be absolute lunacy with the puppet strings held by….who knows who???
