There was really no chance that I could make it 17 days in a row thinking positive thoughts, and yet, here I am on day 17 and I squeaked out three

Friday.

The day itself is a positive. Is that cheating? Using the day as a positive in my quest to find three positive things each day during the month of December?

In fact, even if it is cheating, it is going on the list. I may not be able to find three without cheating otherwise.

I don’t care. I made up the rules for this exercise, so if I say I can do it, I will.

I say I can do it.

So there!

December 17, 2010:

1. It’s Friday.

2. I completed a stupid administrative project that I’d put off for a long time.

3. Good Chinese takeout food for dinner tonight.

I think I might be hitting the wall.

  1. Just keep on churning them out: once through the wall it’ll be easy-peasy!

Everything changes, good and bad, nothing stays the same. So things will get better, and finding something each day to make the day worth-while is so important, however small. Well done you. ((((Hugs))))

  2. Sounds like a damned fine day to me!!

  3. Using “Friday” as a positive isn’t cheating…it’s a bonus (kind of like the middle square on a Bingo card.) Good for you for making it this far 🙂
