Sir Paul, you are owed a huge apology

Sorry if you are tired of this subject, but I know it is only going to get worse over the next 14 months. Yes, we are still that far away from the election.

A friend posted this on his facebook page, and I have to share.

I used to enjoy this song. Now it is going to haunt me.

It is going to be a long year.

  1. ROTFL … that is awesome! Thanks so much! 😀

    • You betcha! 🙂

  2. Oh, brother. She hardly needs any help to scare the hell out of me. And I’m grateful I always liked “Norwegian Wood” better.

It may take us this whole, long year to create the kind of win we want. I’m ready to knuckle down and commit some serious effort!

And, you’re a winner in the Mature Landscaping August Anniversary drawing! Check in tomorrow, August 31st, for the details. Thank you so much for participating. I was tickled that your name was the first my grandson pulled from the bag. We like our shirts and hope you will, too.

Be of good heart and strong will for the campaign. We have worthwhile work to do and I’m so pleased to be sharing it with you.

    • Thanks to your grandson for his awesome name-choosing skills! Unfortunately, I am not feeling very energized yet-just disgusted.

  3. Can I swipe it? I got lots of people who would love it!!!!!

    • Glad you liked it. You can swipe it, please!

  4. Isn’t she horrible? Ack. Every time someone finds out I’m from Minnesota I’m almost obligated to point out that I do NOT live in her district…

p.s. Re: the bus, the incident I wrote about the other day actually happened almost a full year ago. It took me that long to consider writing about it. It affected me for several months afterwards, and I looked at all light-skinned black youths from the corner of my eye for quite a while, wondering if it was him… But I still love the bus, and truth be told, I was advised by the courts that he is now in jail (two years) on an unrelated charge. I still love the city, the bus, but the veil, as they say, has been torn from my eyes…

    • Being from her district is even worse. I have NOT voted for her! I helped her opponent’s campaign!

  5. LOL…A very long year.

    • It will go by quickly, hopefully!

  6. That is AWESOME! Thanks for the best laugh in weeks! And yes….it is going to be a LOOOOONG year…… I’m packing for Canada right now! 🙂

    • I’d rather go someplace with a warm winter. I am too much like Canada already.

  7. And your right…. I’ll never hear that song the same way again….. 🙂

    • It is worse than hearing a song from our youth on a commercial for Depends.

  8. Is it too late to quit paying attention?

    • No. But I fear that those who don’t like Obama but also don’t like the alternative, will just not vote. That is sure to result in a victory for his opponent just as surely as if they voted for his opponent.

  9. That’s excellent. Would love to see her go head-to-head with Obama in the presidential debates.

    • She would not come out well in a debate with anyone other than the other Repubs who are seeking the “most likely to win the Tea Party vote.”

  10. Excellent.
