  1. Im an old WW2 Vet. Started my flying in 1946.Work at the local airport to earn Flying time. My solo flight was ,all my flight training from sod field 1,000ft strip. Might the instructor was female.never flew anything but a Tail drager. close to a thousand hrs.out that little field. Now its all factories. That little town is growing, and a nice airport.
